At our factory, we understand that cross-border shipping for coil springs faces high humidity, long transit times, frequent handling, and container stacking pressure. Poor packaging easily causes rust, surface scratches, deformation, messy bundles, and customer rejection. To ensure every batch of coil springs arrives overseas in perfect condition, we adopt standardized export-grade packaging procedures for all finished springs, suitable for sea freight, air freight, and land transportation worldwide.
1. Pre-Packaging Cleaning & Rust Prevention Treatment
Before packaging, all coil springs go through strict post-production finishing. We completely remove surface oil, dust, metal debris, and processing residues. For carbon steel springs and general alloy springs, professional anti-rust oil is evenly applied and air-dried to form a protective layer against oxidation and salt air corrosion during long ocean voyages. Stainless steel springs are thoroughly degreased and cleaned to keep the surface smooth and contamination-free.
All products are strictly sorted by wire diameter, outer diameter, free length, model, and batch to avoid mixed loading of different specifications, ensuring accurate quantity and consistent quality for each package.
2. Inner Layer Anti-Scratch, Anti-Tangle & Moisture-Proof Protection
We use customized inner packaging according to spring size and precision to prevent friction damage and structural deformation:
- Small precision coil springs: Packed in sealed anti-static PE bags with vacuum sealing. This effectively isolates moisture, dust, and air, preventing tangling, scratching, and surface oxidation during transportation.
- Medium and standard coil springs: Wrapped with multi-layer waterproof kraft paper and bubble film. The entire spring body and end faces are fully covered for shock absorption and collision resistance. Partition cardboard is added between spring coils to avoid mutual friction and shape distortion.
- Heavy-duty large springs: Equipped with thick honeycomb board positioning and separation to maintain original spring geometry and prevent compression deformation during stacking.
3. Standard Export Carton / Wooden Box Outer Packaging
All protected springs are placed into high-strength double-wall export cartons or IPPC fumigated wooden cases for heavy cargo. Each carton is controlled within a reasonable weight range for safe manual and forklift handling.
We fill all internal gaps with foam and pearl cotton to ensure zero shaking and zero displacement inside the box during long-distance transportation. All box seams and edges are fully sealed with waterproof adhesive tape to block moisture, rainwater, and humid sea air, achieving excellent waterproof and moisture-proof performance.
For bulk and heavy spring orders, fumigated wooden boxes are used to meet international customs inspection standards and avoid clearance delays.
4. Pallet Consolidation & Container Shipping Reinforcement
All cartons are neatly stacked on standard export pallets with centered gravity and standardized arrangement. Each pallet is firmly fixed with multi-way PET strapping bands to prevent sliding and collapsing.
The entire pallet is wrapped with tension waterproof stretch film for full coverage, providing dustproof, moisture-proof, and anti-loose protection. For high-stack container loading, corner protectors and reinforcing strips are added to enhance overall stability, resisting extrusion and vibration during sea freight and container transportation.
5. Clear Shipping Marks & Complete Documentation
Each carton and pallet is labeled with waterproof, wear-resistant shipping marks, including product model, specifications, batch number, quantity, NW/GW, carton size, PO number, and shipping marks. Standard international shipping icons such as keep dry, handle with care, no stacking, and this side up are clearly printed.
Complete supporting documents includingproduct inspection reports, quality certificates, and detailed packing lists are provided for each shipment, supporting smooth customs clearance and customer warehouse inspection.
6. Packaging Advantages for Global Clients
Our standardized coil spring export packaging solves common overseas shipping problems: rusting, surface damage, deformation, messy packaging, and weak protection. It adapts to harsh marine transportation environments, ensures stable product quality after arriving at the port, and supports direct warehousing and usage by customers.
We also support custom packaging solutions according to customer requirements, special country import standards, and personalized labeling needs.
